Data Processing & Privacy – Swiss Standards

The aid4face2geo platform is developed and operated by the associated Swiss non‑profit association Direct‑Impact Aid Innovation Hub (CHE‑489.142.402, tax‑exempt, registered in Zurich).

All biometric data (facial recognition, fingerprints) and geolocation data collected through the platform are processed exclusively in accordance with:

​

  • Swiss nFADP (new Federal Act on Data Protection, effective September 1, 2023)

  • UNICEF / UNHCR data protection guidelines for humanitarian settings.

 

The platform is currently in development, implementation, and pilot test operation in cooperation with UN partners.
